In collaboration with Professor Bruno Gaillet from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Université Laval and under the co-supervision of David Guay, VP of Innovation at Feldan Therapeutics and Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Université Laval, Feldan is looking for two motivated PhD students to join its team. The research will focus on studying and optimising our cellular delivery platform for applications in the fields of biotherapeutics and biofabrication.
Candidates must be available in winter 2025 and ideally have experience in molecular biology, cell culture, lipid particle production, or bioprocessing. Strong organisational skills, fluency in either French or English, and a solid work ethic are required. Applicants should have a Master's degree in science or engineering, such as in biochemistry, microbiology, or chemical engineering. Other relevant experience or education will also be considered.
A funding of $35,000/year (for a period of 3 years) will be offered to students enrolled in the PhD Program in Chemical Engineering at Université Laval, on the condition that they commit to completing the entire STAIR Biofabrication Program.
